Project Brief
Universal Student Living is a specialist student accommodation management company with campuses dotted around the UK. They contacted us as they wanted to integrate a WorldPay payment form into their WordPress website.
This led onto further theme improvements including a homepage redesign, visual improvements to the site along with bespoke WordPress plugin development.
Solution
The idea was that students would fill out their details in a payment form on the website and after their details were validated they would then be taken through to WorldPay to securely process their payment and notify Universal Student Living of the transaction. The end solution was developed using a bespoke WordPress plugin, which allowed the site owner to embed this payment form into any page or post in the website.
WordPress WorldPay Integration
After creating the payment form we were tasked with making a number of amendments to their WordPress website, the biggest of these was coding up a new homepage design supplied by their designer. The new homepage focused on showcasing their student accommodation.
The website’s footer was changed to match the updated homepage design. While we worked on styling the website footer, some theme amends were applied to improve tablet and mobile views. In 2015 the client decided to update the colour scheme and logo for the website. They replaced the red and grey colour scheme with blue and green, which had to be changed throughout the website.
