Project Brief

We were approached by Explore Travel and Cruises as they wanted a new design for their travel website. The new design focused on a light colour scheme, new fonts and improved layout of information. The chosen design would then be developed into a WordPress theme by a company of their choosing.

In the redesign, we aimed to create a professional looking website, where the focus was on the images and content used to showcase the cruises on offer. When redesigning the website we chose to use neutral background colours to help accentuate the high-quality images that were being used on the website.

Solution

The old website showed accreditation logos at the bottom of the page and this meant that visitors only saw these if they scrolled down to the bottom. To build trust with website visitors we decided to move them to the top of the website. The phone number was moved to the top of the page so it was easy for visitors to get in contact if they had any questions.

We designed every aspect of the website around their initial brief and we worked with them to make further improvements. The design was approved and passed over to the company that built it into a working WordPress theme.
