Project Brief
Clear Debt contacted us as they needed help with their website and custom development. Their existing website was powered by the Umbraco content management system, which was hosted on a Windows server.
They wanted us to plan and migrate their website from Umbraco (Windows hosting) to WordPress (Linux hosting). The company had their main website in Umbraco with 2 WordPress installations to power their company blog and news portal.
Solution
As part of the project we redeveloped and improved their financial calculator so it worked with WordPress and Gravity Forms. The IVA calculator helps estimate your monthly repayments in an IVA. We used an external data source so the Clear Debt team could easily update the data at any time.
When someone fills out the IVA calculator they needed to store the data in their CRM system so their sales team can follow up on website leads. One requirement was that we needed to implement spam protection and use the Data8 service to validate telephone numbers to ensure the data is valid before being saved to their CRM.
